  • Levesque Snowshoes?

Does anyone have any experience with or information about Levesque snowshoes? I have a friend who is giving me a pair laced with Neoprene. I’d never heard of them. They’re interesting looking, as they are kind of a hybrid looking design that uses a fairly wide but short wedge at the tail, making it almost look like the tails have been cut short (although they haven’t.)

Do you have a pic? I've never heard of them.

They are identical to this, but with black neoprene webbing, I believe. I've not seen them in person, just on a FaceTime call.

Here are the actual snowshoes, along with the maker's label. They are very well made and the ash is amazing...you can follow the growth rings all the way around the staves. They're in beautiful condition. By the looks of things (especially by content on the label) I would assume this was a small one-man operation from Maine that likely died when he did. Does this name ring a bell with anyone? I've seen a few other ME makers selling this style of shoe, but no references to Levesque himself.
