Been wondering the same thing. Curious, does anyone know when registration will open for 2023?

Chekmate -- Looking forward to meeting up at WCS2023 if we don't see you sooner. We were talking about the WCS 2023 again on Wednesday possibly bring some others, so the chances of us attending are really strong.

Camp Miller said they would have registration opened up soon. (Last Tuesday actually) Last week was their last week of Summer Camp, and they have been busy wrapping that up.
The schedule will get switched over and soon as instructors get their class plans to us. September is the month where all of that usually gets put together.
So much to do in a small amount of time

                Hey! MRaske

I haven't seen an updated schedule or who the quest speakers are. Any ideas?

Michael Neiger is the Friday keynote and Tyler Fish will present Saturday night.

Michael Neiger will present about a 2015 snowshoe-and-ski expedition to the Arctic Ocean. This 7-day Canadian expedition involved man-hauling cargo sledges across the muskeg of the Hudson Bay Lowlands and the ice sheets of the Abitibi and Moose Rivers. Michael has completed 6 snowshoe expeditions in Moose Cree First Nations tribal bush along the Arctic Ocean, including a 120-mile solo expedition in 1998. His seventh expedition to the Arctic Ocean is scheduled for February 15-23, 2024. He has been leading dead-of-winter expeditions in the Canadian bush for 34 years. He is a certified wilderness guide for the Michigan Sierra Club’s Woodsmoke Expeditions.

Tyler is one of two members of the first American Unsupported Expedition to the North Pole in 2009. That achievement, which took 55 days to complete, is the culmination of years of expeditionary and competitive success and failure- both relevant teachers to any educator, coach, passionate individual or purposeful team.
Many years since reaching the pole, Tyler is constantly adapting and reinterpreting the lessons leading to and from that endeavor. He is currently a Learning Specialist with the Outward Bound Professional Learning Lab and a Nordic ski coach for the Ely Timberwolves.

Thanks, Checkmate! Thanks for your consistent encouragement in 2022. Without it, we probably would not have attended. We really enjoyed the WCS, not only the information that we learned while there through all the speakers and teachers and demonstrations, but especially the nice people we met at the event. While I understand the information presented at the event is geared towards those who enjoy camping during the wintertime, it really has practical application especially for those of us living in the northern climates with cold winters as you never know when you will need to be prepared and educated in case of an emergency. That is one of the things that drew me to learning more about winter camping.

I am now registered and should be there. Not sure who will be joining me, but I will figure that out closer to the event. Looking forward to seeing those I met in 2022 and also looking forward to meeting new friends. It wouldn't hurt if I found a couple of others from North Dakota that were willing to get out and camp during the winter time.
