Winter camping in, or close to Louisiana rarely involves snow or ice, but is the season of choice.
Our lows rarely get into single digits, so I realize "That's not cold" will come with the geographic territory.
I am here to continue to learn winter camping from those of you that get to live it as a full season.
My first night winter camping in a sleeping bag was around 1960 at the age of 7. Loved it ever since, but have found that a hammock is a lot easier on old bones.
I was born in Louisiana, and stayed for the food.
