Hi everyone this is Erik,
I have very much enjoyed reading through all the posts, lots of great info and content! I have so much to learn and try to soak as much about the outdoors in as I can.
I am from Libertyville, IL. I always say I love summer but winter is my favorite (at least there are canoes
. I am from WI and will be back in less than 4 years when my daughter goes to college (I will go as far north as I can).
I have always enjoyed camping and really got back in to it about 10 years ago. The last 5 years I have really got into winter camping again this time with stoves. Luckily I have friends with land in WI I can camp on and there are places I can car camp or small hikes in on the ice age trail nearby. I try to take + or - 2 trips each winter up in the UP.
